Alex Ligertwood was a powerhouse Scottish vocalist best known for his years as the lead singer of Santana, where his soulful voice became a defining part of the band's sound throughout the 1980s. Blending rock, blues, soul, R&B, and Latin influences, he also performed with acclaimed artists and groups such as the Average White Band, Brian Auger's Oblivion Express, and the Jeff Beck Group. Join us at Catalina Jazz Club for a special Celebration of Life honoring his extraordinary musical legacy, unforgettable voice, and lasting impact on generations of musicians and fans.
