Woodbridge Pacific Group (WPG) has secured seven nominations in the 2026 SoCal MAME Awards, with architectural and interior design contributions from Orange County-based firms. Hannouche Architects, located in Newport Beach, California, served as the architectural firm for all nominated homes. Chameleon Design, based in Costa Mesa, California, was responsible for the interior merchandising of the model homes that received recognition. The awards program, which acknowledges achievements in homebuilding design and development, will host its ceremony on November 14 at the Westin Resort in Anaheim.
The nominations acknowledge new design collections in California’s preferred desert locales. Plans Two and Four at Solace in Miralon were honored for Architectural Design, and the entire Solace collection was recognized as an Architectural Series. The Daybreak design, part of the Cotino™ community in Rancho Mirage, also received a nomination for Architectural Design. In addition to these architectural honors, all three designs—Plans Two and Four at Solace and the Daybreak design at Cotino—were nominated for Interior Merchandising of their respective model homes. Each of these three designs is also eligible for the prestigious Home of the Year designation, which will be announced at the November ceremony.
Lisa Parrish, Judging Chair for the So Cal MAME Awards, commented on the developer's reputation, stating, "WPG and its team have earned a fine reputation for notable attention to detail." She added that the nominated desert homes demonstrate why this "design/development team is so celebrated." Andrew Murphy, President of Woodbridge Pacific Group, expressed satisfaction with the recognition. Murphy noted, "We are delighted with these nominations and delighted that Hannouche and Chameleon are an important part of these prestigious honors." He further stated that the company strives to create new homes with versatile designs located in areas that "enrich the desert lifestyle for a wide variety of move-up and empty nester shoppers." Murphy added that the Solace and Daybreak designs "epitomize the excellence our shoppers expect from WPG neighborhoods."
The So Cal MAME Awards is recognized as one of homebuilding’s most prestigious competitions, according to the judging chair. For 2026, it welcomed entries across approximately 30 categories, celebrating accomplishments in design, planning, and development by both companies and individual professionals. Woodbridge Pacific Group is described as a privately held developer and homebuilder known for its land acquisition and asset management capabilities, supporting its expansion in California and Idaho. The company focuses on new home offerings that respond to buyer preferences.
The ceremony on November 14 at the Westin Resort in Anaheim will reveal the winners across all categories, including the Home of the Year designation for which the Solace and Daybreak designs are contenders.
