Disneyland officials have confirmed upcoming changes to shuttle bus drop-off locations as a component of the resort's extensive, ongoing construction and expansion initiatives. Good Neighbor Hotel and other third-party hotel shuttle services will relocate to the new Downtown Disney District Shuttle Area, situated near Lululemon. This new drop-off point is located on the west side of Downtown Drive, adjacent to the Disneyland Hotel valet loop.

The relocation will result in the closure of the three north bus loops within the existing transportation hub located off the Esplanade. Additionally, the shuttle drop-off area for the Toy Story parking lot will shift to a different section of the transportation arrival area to accommodate ongoing construction work. Rideshare drop-off locations on both the east (current Harbor Boulevard) and west (outside Downtown Disney) sides of the resort are confirmed to remain operational.

These operational adjustments are directly related to the massive new Eastern Gateway project, for which Disneyland broke ground at the end of last summer. This major expansion aims to create a new gateway to the resort, featuring seven levels that will provide thousands of new parking spots, an enhanced security experience, and a dedicated drop-off area. The structure is being built behind hotels on Harbor Boulevard and will connect to the Esplanade via a new sky bridge. The Eastern Gateway is slated to replace the existing transportation hub, freeing up that space for future expansion of Disney California Adventure.

Beyond the Eastern Gateway, active construction is progressing across the resort. Work is reportedly far along for two new attractions within Avengers Campus: Avengers Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab. Dirt is currently moving at the future site of a Coco-themed boat ride on another side of Disneyland Park. Furthermore, plans are in motion to reimagine Tomorrowland, with work on a new Avatar land at Disney California Adventure expected to commence following the completion of the Tomorrowland project.

Within the Esplanade, active construction is also underway, involving the removal of ticket booths and a shift of the security checkpoint closer into the area. This realignment is intended to clear the current security location for further construction activities. Disneyland President Jill Estorino shared insights into the overarching vision for these improvements, stating, "Your first touch point is the most important touch point of the experience." Estorino emphasized a commitment to achieving a "best in class" arrival experience, including the parking garage itself, focusing on efficiency, aesthetics, and guest greeting.

Disneyland officials have indicated that they anticipate these specific locations and operational details may remain in flux as construction progresses, requiring different placements to facilitate the forward movement of the various projects.
